Another rainy day

Well the big news is after a lot of back and forth, we have accepted an offer on our house ! Of course nothing is done till its done, but we are excited nonetheless !
We are stuck inside again today due to rain, and Ava is wearing a deep purple shirt that makes her skin and hair look more beautiful than normal. Is it possible? The pic doesn't due her justice, but wanted to share. James' new habit is to roll over onto his tummy when sleeping then wake up very upset and unable to get back over. We are practicing the rolling back which is going slowly but he is doing well. Just distracted and wanting to have fun!
Keep fingers crossed please as we step up the house hunting in Fort Wayne and look forward to a smooth move !! Love to all,
Thuringers

Hi everybody.
Hope that all is well.
Nothing much to tell here.
Fall is on the way.
The family went to Ft. Wayne yesterday.
PJ's office threw a picnic and we all had a great time. He works with a lot of really nice people.
The kids are awesome and fun. James just turned 6 months! Time flies.
No real bites on the house but we figure that is because we haven't found one in Fort Wayne that we are ready to buy.
I just asked Ava if she has anything to say on the Blog.
Ava asked God to let her be a doctor when she grows up. Classic. A family friend let her borrow a real stethoscope and she has loved giving everyone a check up!
That is all for now.
We will talk to you soon.
Take care all.

breakfast time

Well folks here we are at breakfast. I expect James will be done in about 10 minutes and Ava, well, if we let her go she would still be at the table laughing at the cat. We are all plugging along waiting for the house to sell and keeping an eye out for a new one in Fort Wayne. The real estate market in Indiana is surreal compared to Phx. Seriously. I am totally a fish out of water. Add to that my control issues, and you can imagine the hilarity that ensues !
I am off to tend the precious little ones. Ava and I are making banana bread before Junior wakes from a morning nap (hopefully!). Rainyish here today but that is okay. We need the water.
Love to all!

Holy Cow! It has been entirely too long since our last post. Sorry all but as you all know we all have been super busy. Angela has no time to do anything except be a Mommy to Ava and James. Dad has been commuting twice a week from Fort Wayne just to see his wonderful family! The job is going great and is a lot of fun. We are really excited to join together as a family again in the near future (hopefully).
The house is on the market and PJ has been scoping out the situation in Fort Wayne so that once it sells we can pull the trigger on a new one.

James has been rolling over and is being a super grower. Here is a not so recent picture But he is taking a nap right now or I'd get you a really recent one.

Ava has been helping Dad in the garden. Gramps would be so proud of the tomato crop so far this year!

Take care all and we'll try to be a little more dilligent with our news.

She listens !!

We made banana bread this morning for a friends birthday. When the little darling girl was not listening, I became a bit irritated (after telling her again and again and again...). To my amazement she said something that actually made me beleive she actually hears me when I speak !! (Which of course is not easy to beleive !!) She told me she was disappointed that I chose to be angry. HA !!! Well, we are learning about choices. So on we go with the little smarty and I am sure now that some of what I am telling her is getting through. Tiny is in bed waking up and will get his bath now and get slathered up with the Eucerin. Poor thing's excema is taking a toll on his skin but his disposition is awesome !! He is a total champion !! Off to serve the kids now but will keep in touch more later.
ps. what do y'all think? Fort Wayne is beckoning !!!

Hey there everyone.
Well, this last week PJ accepted a job offer with the City of Fort Wayne.
It is a project management position with the Housing and Neighborhood services department.
We aren't excited about packing but other than that we are very happy!
In other breaking news, James has begun to eat solid food (rice cereal).
We'll keep you all updated.
